Aside from the data hinting towards middle-aged males looking for domestic travel accommodations, we are all living through post-pandemic life choices. Stay cations are on the rise, and many people care about how world-traveling affects the global. The numbers are following the know trends of the society, and I think we should too! If there is a want to expand outside of suites domestically, look to countries with rich domestic traveling needs, i.e., China and India. Focus on developing in countries you are established in and focus on management, not new developments due to cost. Refer to my previous decision tree chart below.
